Summary Description:
The Telehealth Physician performs comprehensive telehealth diagnosis and management of patients in partnership with field responders (generally cross-trained paramedics) and facilitates the coordination of patient care across various providers and services to achieve integrated and improved patient outcomes. The Telehealth Physician works remotely while a highly trained field responder is at the patient’s side. Together, the telehealth experience is elevated to include many services unable to be performed by a remote practitioner, including, but not limited to, hands-on physical exams, Bedside Ultrasound assessment, IV access, medication administration, respiratory care, foley catheter care, G-tube care, central line care, CLIA waived blood testing, viral and bacterial swabs and more. The Telehealth Physician is also responsible for visit documentation and live communication back to referring clinical teams.
Shifts:
Scheduling is dependent on need. Minimum of 4 - 12 hour shifts per month.
Hours of operation are 7 days/week 9am-9pm ET
