Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Mid-Level Provider to join our telemedicine team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in a virtual setting, helping them on their weight management journey. This position offers a competitive salary of $150,000/year, a flexible schedule, and opportunities to excel in the growing field of telehealth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform virtual consultations to assess patients’ health history, current condition, and weight management goals.
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including the prescription of medications such as phentermine, in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Provide patient education on lifestyle changes, weight loss strategies, and proper medication use.
- Track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR).
- Follow telemedicine best practices, ethical guidelines, and all applicable state regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or equivalent Mid-Level Provider.
- Graduation from an accredited program and certification in your field.
- Multi-state licensure is highly desirable.
- Experience in telemedicine or weight management is a plus, but not required; training is available.
- Proficiency in technology and EMR systems.
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
