Our Telemedicine Physicians (MD/DO) provide evidence-based, compassionate medical advice to members of the Curative Health Plan through annual telemedicine based Baseline Visits. These visits are preventative focused and are a key touchpoint in allowing members to use their $0 deductible, $0 co-pay plan to the most benefit. This role also involves collaboration with our team of non-prescriptive Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs). Curative will assist with obtaining needed state licensure.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) with telemedicine experience, strong communication skills and a passion for preventative medicine to join our per diem telemedicine team.
NPs in this role will conduct virtual Baseline Visits - 15 or 30-minute appointments designed to welcome and educate members on the Curative Health Plan. These visits focus on wellness, risk assessment, and prevention. Clinicians take a targeted medical history, review labs, and provide a care plan that emphasizes screenings, and lifestyle education.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain and accurately document a thorough medical history in the EMR.
Educate patients on preventative screenings, nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle habits.
Order and interpret labs included in the Baseline Visit.
Provide a personalized care plan to promote wellness and prevention.
Collaborate with supervising physicians regarding complex cases or urgent needs.

REQUIREMENTS
1 year telemedicine experience
Unencumbered Texas NP License
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
2+ years hands on experience in a Family or Internal Medicine setting
Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
Multiple State licenses
